Post 2015 10-5 PrayerPrayer insights to super-charge your prayers:

If you are stuck in a prayer rut or facing a mountain that seems impossible for any prayer to move, I pray these suggestions and insights will bless your prayer time.  What seems impossible to us is possible to God!  Get into your Prayer Closet and try these prayer suggestions…

PRAISE 1st:
Enter into his gates with thanksgiving,
And into his courts with praise:
Be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
    For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting;
And his truth endureth to all generations. Ps. 100:4-5, KJV

Open and read the Psalms and begin praising the Lord (106:1). Underline those great affirmations of God’s greatness and power like: Ps. 3:3, 8:1, 10:16, 28:6-7, 34:1, 103:1, 105:1-8, 119 (so many!), 121:1-2, etc. Need more inspiration? Put on some worship music as the darkness flees when it is on. Your prayer will now overflow with gratitude and thanksgiving for what He’s about to do. The joy of the Lord is your STRENGTH!! (Neh. 8:10)

SCRIPTURE DIRECTED: seek first the Kingdom God's blessing
Ask Jesus to help you speak out about the situation, as the Holy Spirit will guide you into all things. His Word is powerful and active and God promises to do what we ask, when He has promised it in His Word. As you interact within the scriptures, reading, discussing with and asking God questions, you know for sure it is His will!  Pray the Word back to Him in this holy conversation and He guarantees to move things. He can do immeasurably more than we can ask or think!  (Eph. 3:20)

PERISISTANCE & PERSEVERANCE:
In the prayer example of the 120 in the upper room in Acts 1:12-26, they prayed with such great intensity, reflecting on the scriptures, pressing in for the coming of Jesus’ promise of the Holy Spirit. They were not passive spectators, just waiting on God to act because He said He was about to do something amazing. While they waited, their example of joining in and co-operating with God EVERY DAY into His great act with prayer is why Pentecost was super-powered.

DISTRACTIONS & PROCRASTINATION:
Recognize the other things “calling you” and set your face to Him and to His Word! Surrender yourself completely to Jesus and be covered in the Blood He shed to protect you in this time of prayer. Take a stand to the ways satan will try to keep you off task with distractions and anything else that would hinder your time in prayer. Say, “I am strong to take what Jesus gave me and do not give in to the enemy’s voice!!!  I hear Christ’s voice and follow Him.  I’ve been given Him by the Father.  No one will snatch me or the ones I pray for out of His hand and NO ONE can snatch me out of the Father’s hand, he who is GREATER THAN ALL! “ (John 10:27-29)

REFUTING SATAN’S LIES:
Because we live in the tension of the “already – and – not yet” (Christ’s resurrection and the final judgment), the enemy tries everything they can to get us focusing on problems and not our purpose in Christ!! Remember to tell the pestering spirit this: Christ has abolished, disarmed, and wiped out all curses, spells, taunts, etc. of the enemy and rendered them powerless (2Tim. 1:10, Heb. 2:14 NIV). Call on the Name above all Names with the Scripture Scarf, to which every knee shall bow (Rom. 14:11, Phil. 2:10)!! Take God at His word for who He says He is and let the enemy know that you know it!!

Scripture Prayer Examples – Intercession for a Prodigal or Wayward Believer:
Christ is the head over every power and authority. (Col. 2:10) Not one evil angelic power stands outside the sphere of Christ’s sovereignty, the authority of which I share in! They are stripped of their compelling influence over me or _____ and are under the control and authority of the One more powerful, Jesus, the One they are compelled to obey (Mark 1:24, 27)!!

I am Christ’s purchased possession, redeemed by His blood (Heb. 10:19, 13:20). I am believing for ____’s own belief and acceptance of the gospel for themselves as my intercession and the work of the Holy Spirit enables them to do this. Having been baptized in the Name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Christ has bestowed on me His authority over evil powers and they are dismissed and no longer active in Jesus’ Name!

“I bind the mouth of the enemy from speaking to me or the people/person I’m praying for and to leave our presence as we are covered in the Blood of Jesus, claimed for His holy possession. I am thankful for the victory I have in Jesus!” (Mark 1:25, 10:28)

Christ is always indwelling in my life (Col. 1:27), infusing me with His Power!! I am made alive with Christ by being identified with Him in His death and resurrection. (Col. 2:12-13) This has rendered me dead to the influence of elemental spirits. (Col. 2:20) He alone is sufficient to protect me from evil sprits, and I claim the same protection for _____.

No longer can demonic powers exert an influence over _____, or me whom Christ has claimed for himself, taking the offense of sin and giving us a new Christ-like nature filled with the Holy Spirit (2Pet. 1:4).  Satan possesses INADEQUATE power and wisdom to defeat Christ who dwells within me!!!  When Christ rose from the dead he ultimately mocked and made a humiliating example of the powers (Gal. 6:7, Rom. 6:9,23)!  Their devices are FUTILE.  Elemental spirits are weak and miserable!!

Thank you Holy Spirit for doing the convicting work! You are FAITHFUL and never fail (Ps. 86:15). With you God, all things are possible!! (Mark 10:27) For the weapon of my warfare is not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. (2Cor. 10:4-5)

I tear down the works of satan, such as false and atheistic teaching, lying spirits, and worthless idols. I pray that there is no longer any power of persuasion or attraction to the things of evil for _____ and that their conscience is convicted toward repentance as they hear or read the Word of God, desiring nothing more than complete devotion to God the Father. Like a rushing stream, ____ is overtaken with the True Living Water, which causes ____ to turn from their wrongdoings. (Is. 59:19-20) Thank you Jesus for the workers you have sent into to the world to bring about conversion and deliverance from evil. Lord, your glory arises and your Light has come and risen above ____ and is seen upon ____! (Is. 60:2) You have clothed _____ with the garments of Salvation and covered ____ with the robes of righteousness. Your incorruptible Seed planted in _____ sprouts forth causing _____ to praise You!! (Is. 61:10-11) AMEN!!
