God’s Provision in Every Season

God's provision spiritual seasonGod’s Provision in Every Season

Over the years, God has shown me His faithful provision abundantly. I’ve certainly had my hard knocks, and I’ve never had a lot of money, but these hardships have only deepened my trust in His care for me. I have never truly wanted for anything. I have always had food, clothing, and a roof over my head. And then He has given me extra. I was raised in the U.S. by loving parents, I have a college degree, and now I have a wonderful family of my own. Even when I have walked away from God, He brought me through the darkness and back to Him. His love is steadfast, and He has always been my rock (Psalm 62:5-8). I have known abundance in my life that has nothing to do with money and everything to do with God.

I am truly wealthy because I am a daughter of the King. Due to His provision, I have a beautiful life that I fully enjoy.

As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy. They are to do good, to be rich in good works, to be generous and ready to share, thus storing up treasure for themselves as a good foundation for the future, so that they may take hold of that which is truly life. (1 Timothy 6:17-19)

This Scripture addresses Christians who happen to be monetarily wealthy, but the charge is applicable to all of us. Wealth is not limited to the material realm. It is God who blesses us and gives us success and prosperity, in every season of life. And if you are struggling to get by, rely on the strength of your God. He will always provide you with everything that you need.

And we are called to be generous, as He is, with the spiritual riches that He has lavished upon us. He has given us righteousness and love that, through His provision, we may do good and show to others “that which is truly life.”

Put your trust in God and discover His rich provision in your life.

My trust is in God who richly gives me all to enjoy. (1 Timothy 6:17, Driving Reflections—Blessing / Prosperity)
